Description of a "Shoot-Out" league format:
In the first set of three games each person plays a game with each of the other three players against the remaining two players.
Total points for each player are recorded and totaled.
If there 4 players for each court games are played to 12, win by 1 point.
If the number of players cannot be evenly divided by 4, then there will be 5 players on the court with each having 1 bye. Games are then played to 9 points, win by 1.
Usually, the top 2 players move “Up” a court, and the lowest 2 players move "Down" a court, where they play their next three games similarly.
If there are 5 players, the middle player stays on that court.
